Data Scientist, Level 4 (AI)

Location: United States; Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle. Office attendance is expected 4+ days per week under hirify.global's “default together” policy.

Base salary: $133,000–$235,000 annually depending on assigned US pay zone. The role is also eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling to produce actionable business and product insights.
• Improve product creation, execution, adoption, and decision-making through rigorous analysis.
• Design, implement, and track core product metrics.
• Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, product marketers, designers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Use AI tools to develop scalable data solutions while maintaining statistical accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of post-bachelor's experience in quantitative analysis and data science, or an equivalent master's or PhD pathway.
• Experience with data modeling, product trends, product opportunities, and product metrics.
• Ability to independently initiate and complete projects and collaborate across functions.
• Product understanding and familiarity with hirify.globalchat.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with SQL or similar big-data querying languages.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or R.
• Experience with inferential statistics, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling.
• Experience in social media, online advertising, digital media, or mobile technology.
• Experience applying machine learning and statistical analysis to product solutions or methodological research.
