Business Process & Risk Transformation Lead (Banking)

Location: Remote Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; other remote locations include New York, Jacksonville, and Mount Laurel. Occasional domestic travel is required.

Salary: $148,720–$240,240 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead a complex business management function covering significant risk, complexity, or scope.
• Assess regulatory, operational, and control-related challenges and structure ambiguous problems into actionable workstreams.
• Lead large-scale lookback, remediation, and transformation initiatives spanning multiple organizations.
• Translate complex risks and operational issues into strategic recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Influence senior executives and business leaders without direct authority while challenging assumptions and addressing root causes.
• Drive accountability, governance, escalations, prioritization, and decision support across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• Experience leading complex business management, risk, operational, regulatory, or control-related work.
• Ability to develop and implement an integrated strategy across multiple functional areas.
• Ability to identify issues and opportunities, recommend action to senior management, and influence partners across the enterprise.
• Experience providing people-management leadership, including hiring, goal setting, staff development, performance management, compensation decisions, teamwork, and disciplinary actions.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• CRCM, CRMA, CIA, or CERP certification.
