Operations Manager (Risk Consulting)

Location: Charlotte, United States; hybrid workstyle aligned to an hirify.global office with in-person collaboration based on client, team, development, or relationship-building needs.

Salary: $102,800–$176,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

What you will do

• Partner with consulting leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, meeting objectives, agendas, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with human resources, technology, sales, marketing, finance, legal, resource management, service line leaders, vendors, and other internal functions.
• Manage new service line development, deployment efforts, and system implementations.
• Analyze performance reports and financial data to monitor profitability, plan attainment, and operational effectiveness.
• Provide change management support and interim leadership for troubled initiatives when needed.
• Oversee performance management, development, coaching, and exit counselling for assigned operational team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience working with management-level individuals.
• Experience managing others directly or indirectly in a team environment.
• Experience effectively managing multiple projects and navigating a matrix reporting environment while resolving complex issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to process financial information for reasonableness and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a large, complex, fast-paced, dynamic organization with significant ambiguity and change.
• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, including senior leadership, and to work autonomously and as a team leader.
• Strong problem-solving, analysis, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills; ability to supervise and review project or assignment results; ability to train, mentor, and provide guidance and feedback.
