Senior PHP Engineer - Checkout - Pre-Confirmation (all genders)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using PHP, Laravel, and Symfony.
• Build event-driven pipelines with AWS SNS and SQS for asynchronous payment, order, and inventory processing.
• Optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL queries and Redis cache layers for high-traffic checkout workloads.
• Write automated tests, review pull requests, and promote sustainable architecture and clean code.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in short delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues while balancing long-term code health with pragmatic product delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience with senior-level ownership.
• Advanced PHP 8.x skills with Laravel, Symfony, or modern enterprise frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases and caching, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• API and microservice design experience using OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
• Experience with asynchronous processing using AWS SNS/SQS, plus Docker, Git, and GitLab CI.
• Fluent English and transparent, solution-oriented communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with eCommerce, checkout flows, or payment processor integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and application observability or monitoring tools.
