Junior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Triage and respond to security alerts and incidents according to established standards and best practices.
• Assess IT infrastructure and cloud environments to identify security risks.
• Support application security through assessments, vulnerability scans, and gap analyses.
• Perform network vulnerability scans and review results to identify potential issues.
• Automate routine security tasks and use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency.
• Assist with security audits and automate access reviews.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience handling alerts from WAF, EDR, DLP, IPS/IDS, and SIEM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, its security tools, IAM, and security best practices.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Cybersecurity or incident response certifications or training.
• Penetration testing or CTF experience.
• Knowledge of application security frameworks and ISO 27001.
