Junior Cyber Defender (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Detect and respond to threats in the Cyber Defense Center through end-to-end investigations.
• Investigate attacks across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Assist with developing and implementing internal security processes.
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense Center teams to improve and automate operations.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun support model and on-call coverage, including off-hours and public holidays.
• Contribute to projects involving internal teams and customers to advance the managed security service.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with security tools such as EDR and SIEM.
• Solid understanding of the information security spectrum and in-depth knowledge of identity, endpoint, network, or cloud security.
• Strong interest in information security, reliable character, self-motivation, and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a follow-the-sun support model and participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack.
• Relevant security certifications.
