Director, SAP App Dev. & Innovation (SAP)

Location: Fully remote from the United States; up to 10% domestic travel required. The role is associated with 30 Rockefeller Center, New York, NY, and external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview at an hirify.global location.

Salary: up to $260,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead SAP technical teams through complex system development, deployment, integration, and modernization programs.
• Define architecture and technical strategy for SAP solutions across ECC, S/4HANA, SAP SOH, and SAP BTP.
• Re-engineer custom workloads toward clean core principles and provide technical guidance for S/4HANA code remediation.
• Design SAP and non-SAP integrations using APIs, web services, Java connectors, and REST APIs.
• Guide development of RAP in-app extensions, CAP side-by-side extensions, SAP Fiori applications, and cloud-based solutions.
• Shape product roadmaps, coordinate with other engineering teams, and mentor engineers and consultants.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this fully remote position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, plus 12 years of relevant SAP integration or development experience.
• Experience consulting on more than eight SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation projects and leading large-scale SAP transformations.
• Deep technical experience with ABAP frameworks, SAP modules, SAP SOH or S/4HANA extensibility, BAPIs, APIs, and integration development.
• Experience with RAP, CAP, SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, SAP Build, Work Zone, Integration Suite, and SAP Fiori.
• Experience applying clean core principles, business process re-engineering, and technical architecture best practices.
