What you will do
- Design and develop scalable, reliable data platforms and pipelines for analytics and operations.
- Implement distributed data processing workflows using Apache Spark, pySpark, and Databricks.
- Evolve cloud data platforms with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Event Hub, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Model and integrate data from multiple sources for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, data quality, scalability, and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and engineers to turn requirements into data solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or building data processing platforms.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for pipeline development.
- Experience with Apache Spark or pySpark, with Databricks preferred.
- Experience designing cloud data pipelines, preferably with Azure, and working with production-scale analytical systems.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, Parquet, JSON, Airflow, and database optimization.
- Professional proficiency in English and strong collaboration and communication skills.
