SAP SCM Functional Consultant (S/4HANA)

What you will do

• Configure SAP PP, with exposure to SAP PM or SAP QM, for discrete manufacturing and service/repair operations.
• Analyze and improve engineer-to-order, make-to-order, aftermarket service, repair, and MRO workflows.
• Gather business requirements from engineering, operations, service centers, supply chain, and quality teams, and map them to SAP functionality.
• Support and lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, integrations, and global rollouts.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, then provide post-go-live support and enhancements.
• Create documentation, work instructions, and training for manufacturing and service center users.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience is listed for the role; requirements specify 15+ years of SAP experience focused primarily on PP.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, supply chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience in discrete manufacturing and service/repair environments.
• Deep knowledge of production master data, routings, bills of materials, variant configuration, production orders, and shop floor execution.
• Strong understanding of service orders, equipment masters, notifications, refurbishment, quality, compliance, traceability, and ISO-driven environments.
• Applicants are encouraged to hold U.S. citizenship, a Green Card, EAD, H1B, or be eligible for an H-1B transfer.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial equipment, flow control, rotating equipment, oil and gas, or similar manufacturing and service industries.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience with PP, plus SAP PM or SAP QM experience.
• Advanced ETO/MTO and aftermarket service experience.
• Experience integrating SAP with MES, PLM, or shop floor technologies.
• Familiarity with pump, valve, and seal product lines.
