SAP Asset Lifecycle Management Functional Consultants (SAP)

Location: Hybrid from hirify.global's headquarters in Rotterdam and home; 40% office, 40% home, and 20% flexible work. With manager approval, work abroad in approved countries for up to 3 weeks per year, with a maximum of 2 consecutive weeks.

Gross annual salary: €60,000–€81,000, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance, with a possible bonus or collective profit sharing depending on the role.

What you will do

• Provide advanced functional support for SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and SAP Field Service Management.
• Diagnose complex incidents, coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, and restore service through lasting structural fixes.
• Monitor system stability and performance, manage user access and authorisations, and identify risks before they escalate.
• Coordinate software releases from planning and testing through validation, go-live, and post-release monitoring.
• Review user stories, define and execute functional test plans, and act as the quality gate for production changes.
• Drive root cause analysis, functional design decisions, process optimisation, and continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of functional support experience in SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM, PS, DMS, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and/or SAP Field Service Management.
• Experience with software release coordination, functional testing, incident management, root cause analysis, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of ALM processes and tooling, release and change management, quality assurance, compliance, authorisation frameworks, and SAP integrations.
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to work with developers, business stakeholders, management, and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

• Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, or another asset-intensive sector.
