Senior Principal Platform Lead (AI & Agentic Systems)

What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and end-to-end execution of the Internal Developer Platform.
• Build service catalogues, self-service scaffolding, golden paths, developer portals, and CI/CD integrations.
• Own developer experience from service creation through production observability and drive measurable adoption.
• Integrate authentication and authorization into the self-service platform model.
• Partner with IAM, infrastructure, SRE, and product teams to deliver a coherent, reliable, and secure platform.
• Establish feedback loops, influence platform architecture, and mentor senior platform engineers as an individual contributor.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tooling engineering, including 3+ years in a senior, staff, or technical lead individual-contributor role.
• End-to-end experience owning an Internal Developer Platform or developer portal such as Backstage, Port, Cortex, or an equivalent solution.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform or Crossplane, CI/CD, secrets management, and observability.
• Experience shipping golden paths, service templates, and CI/CD standardization at enterprise scale.
• Production AI application experience, including designing, building, and shipping systems using LLMs or agentic AI.
• Technical depth in Go, React or Next.js, Kafka or Redpanda, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes on AKS, plus clear communication with engineering leaders and product directors.
