Employee Benefits Financial Analyst

What you will do

• Oversee and review monthly financial reports, utilization metrics, and benchmarks.
• Develop reporting requirements and customize financial reports for clients.
• Support Benefit Consultants with meeting materials, coverage details, and contract documentation.
• Assist with renewal proposals, plan change recommendations, and alternative funding options.
• Perform demographic analysis, claims reviews, and financial analysis for prospective clients.
• Represent financial strategy in finalist presentations and client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of employee financial experience with thorough knowledge of employee benefits.
• Strong to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and judgment skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and take a proactive approach to client financial requirements.
• Must obtain and maintain an active Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent License within one year.
