Employee Benefits Associate Analyst - January 2027 Career Development Program

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States

Salary: $65,000/year, with eligibility for up to a 5% bonus at completion of the 12-month program.

What you will do

• Complete a 12-month employee benefits career development program with more than 950 hours of structured training and practical work experience.
• Analyze financial data, insurance renewals, new business proposals, funding projections, and claims utilization.
• Review insurance contracts and funding arrangements to understand plan structures and cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support negotiations involving premium rates and benefit plan features.
• Prepare clear, client-ready summaries and contribute to internal strategy meetings and client recommendations.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain accuracy and deadlines, and stay current on employee benefits legislation and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfort working with financial data in Excel, including building tables and analyzing information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and produce accurate work.
• Clear communication, collaboration, initiative, and willingness to learn.
