Senior Product Integrity Engineer

Location: UK - London, Battersea Power Station. Travel within the UK and internationally may be required to support development builds, manufacturing sites, and supplier activities.

What you will do

• Lead product integrity input across the New Product Development lifecycle, including design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, design verification, validation planning, and safety reviews.
• Develop risk-based verification and validation plans with test methods, acceptance criteria, and evidence requirements aligned with product specifications and applicable UK, European, and target-market requirements.
• Assess product performance, reliability, robustness, engineering changes, manufacturing variation, and production readiness before tooling and launch.
• Lead quality risk reviews, supplier investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and CAPA through verified closure.
• Analyse validation, build, test-failure, and field-performance data to identify risks and improve test coverage and quality processes.
• Communicate residual risks, validation status, and corrective-action progress to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five or more years of relevant engineering experience with ownership of design verification, validation, or product integrity activities.
• Practical experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, technical design reviews, engineering change assessments, and measurable test plans.
• Strong product development lifecycle, document control, verification and validation, technical problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, challenge technical decisions, manage multiple programmes, and communicate technical risks clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience using data to support engineering decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer appliances, electromechanical products, or other high-volume consumer goods.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering, accelerated life testing, statistical analysis, or Design of Experiments.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes, PPAP, process capability assessment, and incoming quality controls.
• Understanding of UK and European product safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience with human factors, usability, foreseeable misuse, and international manufacturing partners.
