Software Engineer (Ansible)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; hybrid work with onsite and remote work

What you will do

• Write reusable, idempotent Ansible playbooks and roles using YAML, Jinja2, dynamic inventories, and external inventory sources.
• Administer Linux systems across RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, and Alpine, including package management, systemd, networking, and security hardening.
• Automate Windows environments with Ansible modules, PowerShell remediation, and Active Directory integration where applicable.
• Combine Ansible with Terraform or CloudFormation for hybrid infrastructure, and configure Kubernetes clusters, pods, deployments, and container runtimes.
• Integrate automation into Git-based CI/CD pipelines and validate roles with Molecule, TestInfra, schema checks, and policy controls.
• Secure secrets, generate compliance reports, connect automation to monitoring systems, and develop Python or Bash automation scripts.

Requirements

• Experience writing Ansible playbooks and roles, YAML and Jinja2 templates, and managing dynamic inventories.
• Strong Linux administration and security-hardening skills across multiple distributions.
• Experience with Windows Ansible modules, PowerShell, and Active Directory where applicable.
• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, CI/CD platforms, Git workflows, Molecule, and TestInfra.
• Ability to manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS, and understanding of networking and cloud infrastructure components.
• Python and Bash scripting skills; Secret security clearance is required.
