Senior DevOps Eng

Location: Hybrid in Herndon, Virginia, with onsite work 2–3 days per week; candidates should live within approximately 50 miles of the office.

Base salary: $142,700–$186,900 USD annually, plus bonus plans.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Build and maintain virtualized infrastructure for development, testing, integration, and production environments.
• Manage virtual machines and virtual hardware using VMware vSphere/ESXi, VMware Horizon, and VDI technologies.
• Provision, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux systems in virtualized environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, capacity, and availability.
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, IT operations, networking, and cybersecurity teams while providing technical guidance.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced experience with DevOps, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, VMware Horizon, VDI environments, virtual machines, and virtual hardware.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems in virtualized environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing virtualized infrastructure, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must have the right to work in the United States; certain positions may require U.S. Person status under export-control regulations. Willingness to obtain a government security clearance if needed is required.
