Senior Business Systems Analyst (NetSuite)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid with two days per week in the office. Flexible work hours are required to coordinate with global tasks and teams. Working from almost anywhere is available for up to 20 days per year.

Compensation range: CAD 102,000–133,000, including commission and/or bonuses.

What you will do

• Monitor performance across financial applications, maintain system documentation, provide administration, and support users with bug fixes and enhancements.
• Partner with finance and engineering to define requirements, implement systems, and execute end-to-end integration testing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure solutions align with partner requirements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, investigate requests, and determine effective solutions for business partners.
• Resolve incidents efficiently and provide operational support during monthly financial close cycles.
• Support compliance, control requirements, sensitive financial data handling, and IT SOX audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably with an engineering or technical background.
• 3+ years of finance systems experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, AP automation, AR receivables, travel and expense, O2C, R2R, P2P, and integration platforms.
• Experience supporting monthly financial close and knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with close attention to data accuracy and governance.
• Ability to work flexible hours when coordinating with international colleagues and global teams.

• Previous hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems.
