TL;DR
Java Engineer (Banking) (Java/Spring): Building scalable banking applications and enterprise systems across high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability environments with an accent on RESTful web services, messaging, and microservices. Focus on designing secure integrations, implementing automated unit and integration testing, and supporting live applications in production.
Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid workplace with openness to remote work.

What you will do
- Understand and challenge business requirements when needed.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, detailed software design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance, and production launches.
- Build Java-based applications for high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability environments.
- Develop and integrate RESTful web services with security controls and messaging systems.
- Contribute to continuous development-process improvements.
- Provide Level 3 support for live applications.
Requirements
- Backend development experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Experience developing RESTful web-service producers and consumers, including web-services security.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with Spring Data JDBC or equivalent using Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with design patterns, JUnit, Mockito, enterprise integration patterns, and microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile practices, CI/CD tools, GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, Docker, and OpenShift.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS cloud solutions.
