Back End Developer (Java)

Location: Hybrid — Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Build applications, customer-facing interfaces, backend services, and platform features in an Agile team.
• Develop reusable, testable, efficient code and deliver features through iterative releases.
• Design low-latency, highly available applications with authentication and authorization capabilities.
• Create unit and integration tests, review code, and document technical solutions.
• Integrate services with databases and external systems using synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while applying Git, CI/CD, and sprint delivery practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java and JEE.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs with Spring Framework and knowledge of SOAP APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Netty, Tomcat, WebSocket, caching, and reactive programming concepts.
• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB databases.
• Experience with Git or GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence, as well as web and mobile platform delivery.
• Technical university degree, Agile methodology knowledge, and strong teamwork, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• DevOps knowledge or relevant technical certifications.
