Senior Software Engineer (AEM + Workfront/Fusion)

Location: Remote in the United States; roles are open in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. U.S. work authorization is required through the Form I-9/E-Verify process.

Salary: $108,000–$140,000 USD annually for a 40-hour workweek.

What you will do

• Own software and integration work end to end, from clarifying ambiguous requirements through implementation, testing, launch, and support.
• Configure Adobe Workfront templates, request queues, custom forms, approvals, proofing, access levels, and reports.
• Build and maintain Workfront Fusion integrations with AEM, Adobe products, and third-party systems.
• Connect Workfront with AEM Assets through linked folders, metadata mapping, and asset workflows.
• Develop AEM backend solutions using Java, Sling Models, servlets, OSGi services, workflows, Maven, and APIs.
• Investigate production issues through logs, Fusion execution history, API responses, and real use cases; document solutions and support user adoption.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with backend systems or integrations, including work management or business process projects for large organizations.
• 2+ years of hands-on Adobe Workfront experience, including templates, custom forms, Fusion integrations, and DAM connectivity.
• 1+ year of hands-on AEM backend development with Java, Sling, OSGi, Sling Models, servlets, workflows, and Maven.
• Adobe certifications in Workfront and Workfront Fusion.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, JSON, authentication, Git, pull requests, automated builds, and testing.
• Ability to independently research ambiguous problems, analyze logs, debug integrations, communicate clearly, and document business processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workfront Planning, Frame.io, Creative Cloud for Enterprise, Marketo, or AEP.
• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Edge Delivery Services, Universal Editor, App Builder, Cloud Manager, AEM websites, or AEM migrations.
• Adobe certification in AEM Sites or AEM Assets.
• Experience with user training, change management, GenAI development tools, or core LLM concepts.
