Product Legal Counsel (Mobile Gaming)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world or from one of the company's offices

What you will do

• Advise product, marketing, and other teams across the full game lifecycle.
• Guide child and minor safety, age assurance, age-gating, parental controls, youth-safety features, and age-appropriate content.
• Handle online trust and safety matters, including content moderation, user conduct, reporting, and harmful or illegal content.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations across multiple jurisdictions, including drafting submissions and communicating with regulators.
• Advise on AI risks, privacy, data protection, DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs, DPAs, data-sharing arrangements, SDKs, and third-party trackers.
• Support game design, monetization, advertising, player communications, refunds, chargebacks, commercial agreements, copyright, and content clearance while managing external counsel.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in any European country.
• 5+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years advising product, technology, or entertainment teams in-house.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and managing external counsel.
• Fluency in English and Russian.
• Pragmatic, commercially focused judgment with the ability to advise on complex legal issues in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Comfort using AI tools and handling ambiguity with a practical “getting to yes” mindset.

Nice to have

• In-house experience at a game developer.
• CIPP or AIGP credentials.
• Passion for games and experience as an active gamer.
