Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid, with remote work available within the EU. Regular presence in the Berlin office is advantageous.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product experience across farmer and partner journeys, from onboarding and assessment through planning, verification, reporting, and payment.
• Design complex and brand-critical experiences, including wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity interaction design, and visual design.
• Improve farmer workflows through simpler onboarding, self-serve help, and reusable data capture.
• Run continuous research, usability testing, A/B tests, and experience measurement with product and analytics teams.
• Build hirify.global’s AI-augmented design process, canonical design system, handoff contract, and automated and human coherence checks.
• Partner with engineering, coach product managers, establish design rituals, and reduce design-related rework.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience, including senior or lead roles owning complex B2B or data-heavy products end to end.
• Exceptional interaction and visual design skills with mastery of Figma and a portfolio demonstrating product-level impact.
• Experience building and operating a design system with engineering, ideally using React and Storybook, with tokens and components treated as code.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for design and delivery, such as Claude or Figma AI.
• Experience improving engagement, conducting research, and preferably running A/B tests and product experiments.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• German language skills for direct communication with farmers.
• Experience in agriculture, climate, sustainability, or multi-sided platforms.
• Experience with multilingual products and content design.
