IA Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid work in Berlin, Paris, Nantes, Milan, or Amsterdam, with up to 2 remote days per week

What you will do

• Contribute to AI-powered features and services under the guidance of experienced AI and software engineers.
• Write Python code for prototypes, experiments, evaluation tools, and backend components.
• Experiment with large language models, prompting techniques, retrieval, and tool integration.
• Develop automated tests and documentation for AI components.
• Investigate issues, analyze results, and suggest improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile team rituals.

Requirements

• Final-year degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic Python experience from coursework, personal projects, research, or internships.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and software development.
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence and interest in understanding how AI systems work.
• Comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or large language models.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or Google ADK.
• Experience with AI APIs, prompting, retrieval, conversational interfaces, production deployments, Git, APIs, testing, or data analysis.
• Interest in healthcare, privacy, or responsible AI.
