Senior Fullstack Developer (Java, Angular, Kafka)

Location: Hybrid in Gdańsk or Warsaw, Poland, with at least 60% office presence required

Rate: Up to 140 PLN/hour net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve internet-facing Commercial Cards applications.
• Build microservices-based solutions and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems while optimizing availability, performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities found through SAST, container and dependency scanning, penetration testing, and other assessments.
• Analyze and resolve defects, incidents, and production issues while supporting CI/CD processes with Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development, including testing personal changes.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Angular, Angular Material, Kafka, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
• Experience resolving SAST, container scan, and other security vulnerabilities, with knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.
• Agile/Scrum experience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and basic knowledge of AI tools or willingness to explore them.
• Fluent English and availability for the hybrid office model in Gdańsk or Warsaw are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, cards, or payments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, performance tuning, or application monitoring.
• Technical mentoring and coaching experience.
