Senior Fullstack Engineer (Elixir)

Location: Hybrid or remote working setup across the Netherlands, France, and Poland; onsite options are listed in Poznań, Poland, and Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: €69,000–€85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build shared platform foundations and integrations connecting multiple hirify.global products on an Elixir/Phoenix core.
• Develop production frontend features with React and Angular alongside backend work.
• Turn ambiguous platform enablement and AI ideas into buildable product increments.
• Ship improvements to mature products serving thousands of organizations and measure their outcomes.
• Adapt to existing conventions across multiple codebases rather than introducing unnecessary patterns.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, product managers, designers, and product teams.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience; Elixir and Phoenix are a significant advantage.
• Production frontend experience with React or Angular; exposure to both is preferred.
• Experience working across multiple codebases and technologies.
• Senior-level judgment in refactoring, shipping, and following established product conventions.
• Product-oriented thinking and the ability to explain technical trade-offs across teams.
• Fluent English and readiness for regular synchronous collaboration, pairing, and real-time problem solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, or Oban.
• Previous experience with both React and Angular.
