Senior / Lead Hardware Engineer (HVAC)

What you will do

• Lead hardware architecture, schematic design, component selection, BOM creation, PCB design, debugging, validation, FMEA, and root-cause analysis for embedded electronic products.
• Define hardware test plans, coordinate laboratory testing and certification, and deliver verification and reliability reports.
• Manage engineering releases, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, pilot builds, mass-production transfer, and factory technical support.
• Lead hardware safety, EMC/EMI, and international certification activities while working with certification agencies and suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction, alternative component qualification, product lifecycle improvements, emerging-technology research, and prototype development.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, documentation, process improvement, and collaboration with software, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, and global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of hardware development experience, including embedded electronic products from concept through mass production.
• Strong experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, power supplies, power management, motor drives, motor control, and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, PSpice, multilayer PCB design, signal integrity, EMC-compliant layouts, and PCB/PCBA manufacturing principles including DFM, DFA, and DFT.
• Knowledge of hardware verification, EMC/EMI compliance, environmental reliability testing, product safety certifications, embedded system architecture, and MCU-based platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration with global engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial control, HVAC, PLC hardware, connected IoT products, or related electronic systems.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi, BLE, 4G/LTE, LoRa, NB-IoT, RF design, MQTT, Modbus, BACnet, CAN, and RS485.
• Experience with UL, CE, ENEC, CQC, or other international certification programs.
• Embedded firmware development, C programming, hardware-software co-development, mechanical engineering collaboration, or technical people management experience.
