Customer Solution Architect (Automation & Digitalization)

Location: Denmark, Spain (Barcelona), or Portugal; based at one of the offices around Europe with travel across the Europe and Africa region

What you will do

• Design customer solutions, including network and system architectures, for automation, control, and digitalization projects.
• Develop, test, and commission hardware and software solutions using Omnivise T3000, WinCC, SCADA, Hybrid Plant Controller, and related platforms.
• Define solution requirements and scopes with product teams and provide feedback for product development.
• Provide technical recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders while coordinating communication across a matrix organization.
• Support Sales and Bid Managers with technical tender preparation for hybrid plants, substations, district heating, batteries, Power2X, wind, and fleet management.
• Assess technical risks, project impacts, safety considerations, and opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience designing and commissioning large-scale industrial automation systems, preferably in power generation, energy, or process automation.
• Strong experience combining multiple systems into integrated solutions, preferably involving networking, SCADA, or DCS.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, Sales, product development, and project execution stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the Europe and Africa region.
• Experience with Omnivise T3000, WinCC, SCADA, digitalization solutions, APIs, cloud architectures, virtual environments, IEC 62443, IEC 61850, or IEC 60870 is advantageous.
