Solution Engineer Manager (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal or Amman, Jordan. Hybrid work with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week; up to 30 days per year may be worked from any location worldwide.

What you will do

• Design and coordinate standard and complex customer solutions involving internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors.
• Support account teams during qualification, proposal, contracting, and other pre-sales activities with technical designs and advice.
• Own the technical sections of customer proposals and communicate hirify.global products, enhancements, and solutions through meetings and workshops.
• Lead solution design with architects, development teams, product engineering teams, and subject matter experts through implementation.
• Ensure designs align with business strategies, architectural plans, industry standards, security requirements, and operational needs.
• Assess new technologies and patterns to support scalability, growth, and successful customer delivery.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in information technology, telecommunications, or air transport technology, including technical pre-sales or lead architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering or computer technology discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience designing, integrating, and managing software solutions in a systems integration environment.
• Strong solutions and application architecture background, including end-to-end system design and hardware recommendations for complex technical issues.
• Ability to document and communicate technical customer solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of information legislation, GDPR, system security, quality assurance, problem-solving, and analytical methods.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aviation and border industries.
• TOGAF certification.
• ITIL knowledge or certification.
• Pre-sales business or commercial experience.
