Field Application Scientist (Flow Cytometry)

Location: Home office in Bavaria, Germany, with coverage of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The role requires approximately 80% travel and includes in-field and remote support.

What you will do

• Conduct pre-sales flow cytometer demonstrations and provide post-sales technical support.
• Deliver customer training for instruments, applications, and solutions.
• Work with sales personnel on tenders, demonstrations, and the sales process.
• Record activities in the CRM system and communicate customer feedback and identified issues.
• Support the pan-European Field Application Scientist Forum.
• Identify follow-on sales opportunities for reagents, upgrades, and accessories.

Requirements

• Proven field-support experience with practical flow cytometry.
• Academic background in biotechnology or flow cytometry, with a good understanding of related fields.
• Strong problem-solving, customer-support, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English and German.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% and a full clean driving licence.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
