AI Backend Engineer #2

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid work required

What you will do

• Design and develop Python backend services and AI agents using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Manage the agent lifecycle from development and deployment through observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain cross-team SDKs and support developers adopting the internal AI platform.
• Develop, publish, secure, and authenticate MCP servers.
• Unify agent inference through LiteLLM or a similar proxy.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, vector databases, context management, guardrails, PII masking, and Agent Skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience and 2+ years working with agentic AI.
• Strong Python and FastAPI, or similar backend framework, experience.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, modern agent-building stacks, and production AI agents.
• Knowledge of MCP across development, publishing, authentication, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with LiteLLM or similar proxies, vector databases, RAG, context optimization, guardrails, and PII masking.
• Experience building and maintaining SDKs, communicating clearly, and supporting other developers.

• TypeScript experience.
