TL;DR
🔹 Position: Country Manager/ Head of Region
🔹 Level: Senior / C-level — essentially acting as the CEO of the region
🔹 Project: iGaming / betting
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Driving product growth, development, and scaling across the region
Working closely with Marketing, Analytics, and Retention teams
Managing key business metrics, including GGR, NGR, deposits, and churn
Developing, launching, and testing growth hypotheses
Building and maintaining relationships with key partners and payment service providers
Developing and executing the regional business strategy
Country Manager
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the region.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling products in the region, with a deep understanding of local market specifics and operations.
- Knowledge of user acquisition channels (traffic types, costs, estimated ROI timelines, player retention specifics).
- Ability to set up core customer communication channels and evaluate their effectiveness across different user segments.
- Knowledge of necessary payment solutions, their popularity in the GEO, and relevance to specific player segments.
- Ability to analyze competitor offerings and highlight a unique selling proposition (USP).
- Experience in combating fraud and bonus hunting.
- Experience leading a team and collaborating across departments (effective communication, ability to explain and defend key decisions, process planning, and execution control).
Will be plus
- Experience working with influencers and sponsorship contracts.
- Experience launching online casino media campaigns in offline channels.
- Understanding of GEO-specific licensing specifics and experience working with various licenses.
- Knowledge of regional legal specifics and risk assessment capabilities.
