Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (GCP)

What you will do

• Design and maintain enterprise Infrastructure-as-Code templates and paved-path solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes Config Connector, Helm, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop Policy-as-Code frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, security guardrails, drift detection, and automated compliance auditing.
• Optimize Google Kubernetes Engine workloads through container orchestration, autoscaling, and compute resource allocation.
• Provision secure cloud environments, API gateways, and GKE infrastructure for AI agents and large language model workflows.
• Build resilient active/active multi-region configurations, automated failover, disaster recovery, telemetry, logging, and self-healing tools.
• Embed FinOps-driven forecasting, monitoring, scaling, and cost optimization into foundational platform templates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing modular, enterprise-wide platform architectures.
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP, including network security, GKE, IAM, Vertex AI infrastructure, and hybrid connectivity.
• Exceptional proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes Config Connector, Helm, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, secrets management, and custom resource definitions.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience in a highly regulated, tier-one financial services or SIFMU-compliant organization.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate certification.
