Senior Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: United States clearance eligibility required; applicants must already hold a current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph before applying.

Salary: $260,000–$285,000 per year, plus $65,000–$71,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Design complex infrastructure systems and architecture improvements supporting mission goals.
• Lead agentic AI workflows, including an internal marketplace and plugin ecosystem.
• Architect and deploy large-scale, government-aligned AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Create automated triage systems spanning metric discovery, system health, and code analysis.
• Develop high-performance Python applications for agentic data processing and AI integration.
• Partner with external teams, mentor engineers, and maintain secure, compliant systems.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• 12 years of experience, plus a technical B.S. degree or four additional years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• Architectural and organizational experience with Kubernetes and Rancher.
• Advanced Python development experience in application and systems engineering.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting, Git, enterprise CI/CD, system design, and technical leadership experience.

Nice to have

• Elasticsearch experience for complex indexing and search.
• AWS architecture experience or certifications.
• Experience with high-scale certificate management.
• Experience designing networking interface architecture.
