Senior Engineer II (Pharmaceutical Forecasting)

Location: US - North Carolina - Holly Springs; Flex Commuter / Hybrid. May telecommute where possible.

Annual salary: $168,730–$204,224 per year, plus bonus eligibility, stock, retirement, and insurance benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as a primary forecasting contact for brand leads and senior therapeutic-area leaders.
• Build consensus on worldwide sales expectations and forecast assumptions for pipeline assets.
• Identify risks and opportunities, analyze competitors and market dynamics, and recommend strategies.
• Develop scenario plans and advanced simulation models, including Monte Carlo analysis and statistical trending.
• Use pharmaceutical data sources such as LAAD, National Audit Rx, Xponent, epidemiology datasets, and other commercial analytics.
• Present forecast variables and recommendations clearly while collaborating with the Commercial Data & Analytics organization to improve forecasting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Six years of experience in the offered role, commercial forecasting, or a related consulting occupation.
• Six years of experience developing patient-based forecasting models, quantitative analyses, pharmaceutical market insights, epidemiology models, and market-access scenarios.
• Experience with Excel forecasting tools, pivot tables, lookup formulas, scenario modeling, RISK or Crystal Ball, and probabilistic modeling.
• Experience in oncology, including immuno-oncology treatment paradigms, emerging classes, competitive landscapes, and clinical development trends.
• Two years of experience integrating AI tools such as Risk, Crystal Ball, ChatGPT, or Copilot with enterprise systems including Anaplan.
