Senior Biostatistician (AI/ML)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States

Base salary: $130,000–$196,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead statistical design and analysis across the product lifecycle, from feasibility and preclinical evaluation through clinical validation and post-market monitoring.
• Translate scientific and product questions into study objectives, estimands, analysis plans, and decision criteria.
• Analyze clinical, experimental, observational, real-world, and operational datasets to generate interpretable evidence.
• Evaluate data quality, bias, missingness, generalizability, model performance, and scientific integrity risks.
• Communicate study designs, assumptions, results, limitations, and recommendations through protocols, reports, presentations, dashboards, and cross-functional discussions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience applying statistical methods in clinical, biomedical, health technology, medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or life sciences research.
• Experience designing and analyzing observational studies, interventional clinical studies, and real-world data studies.
• Programming experience in R and/or Python with complex life science, biomedical, or healthcare datasets.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with diagnostics, medical devices, digital health, or AI/ML-enabled clinical products.
• Experience in health-regulated environments involving the FDA or other health authorities.
• Experience with EHR, claims, registry, device-generated, sensor, imaging, laboratory, or patient-reported data.
• Experience with Bayesian methods, adaptive trial designs, causal inference, reproducible research, Git, or AI-assisted development tools.
