Intern, Battery Test (EV)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; 4–5 days in-office per week required

hirify.global is an early-stage, venture-funded electric vehicle startup developing commercial medium-duty EV and hybrid platforms.

What you will do

• Support design engineering and battery testing functions.
• Develop and execute test plans, including fixture design, test method development, data logging, and reporting.
• Assist with cell-level, module-level, and pack-level high-voltage battery tests.
• Write test plans and support battery data analysis.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have previous internship experience.
• Be comfortable using hand tools, fabricating simple wiring projects, and debugging low-voltage test setups.
• Be able to write Python scripts for data analysis.
• Be authorized to work in the United States or able to obtain a J-1/F-1 visa.
• Work on-site in Garden Grove, California, 4–5 days per week, for 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition sensors.
• Experience with automotive projects, vehicles, or batteries.
• Participation in collegiate teams such as Formula SAE, Baja SAE, EcoCAR, or Supermileage.
