Quality Support (All Quality Events) - Day Shift

Location: Desford, Leicestershire, United Kingdom; full-time on-site day shift

Salary: £35,200, rising to £39,000 when role objectives are reached

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee quality-related activities within Building Construction Products.
• Investigate, document, analyse, and resolve production quality issues.
• Collect defect data, update quality checks, and recommend assembly process improvements.
• Log and track quality issues, identify defects for repair, and support CQMS standards.
• Generate quality metrics, respond to incidents, and support built-in quality processes.
• Track corrective actions and support health, safety, training, and development activities.

Requirements

• Confident use of the AQE system for quality checklists and standards compliance.
• Experience leading or supporting teams in production environments.
• Ability to apply DMAIC for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools including CPI, PIQ, IPV, and FMEA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while following corporate processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Teamcenter, Epix, PRWB, and SIS.
• Knowledge of CQMS, Lean Six Sigma, and JIT.
• Experience leading cross-functional meetings and presenting quality updates.

• Permanent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours, generally Monday to Thursday from 06:45 to 15:45 and Friday from 06:45 to 10:15.
