Engineer Advanced Quality (Automotive)

hirify.global is a global automotive seating manufacturer producing complete seating systems and components for major automotive OEMs across its research, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly operations.

What you will do

• Ensure advanced quality requirements are completed for new model launches under the hirify.global Product Launch System.
• Prepare control plans, appearance manuals, measurement and capability data, gauging validation, and IMDS compliance for production launches.
• Lead supplier APQP, DVP&R, PPAP, and PSW approval activities, including supplier visits and customer coordination.
• Participate in the Simultaneous Development Team and communicate quality deliverables across build phases.
• Support the JIT plant during new model builds and ensure critical characteristics are controlled from DFMEA and drawings through production poka-yoke verification.
• Resolve customer and internal quality issues using 8D, PSD, PCAD, Kepner-Tregoe, and other hirify.global problem-solving methods, and present project status at launch reviews.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in the automotive industry and 2 years in a quality role.
• Training in quality disciplines, including IATF 16949, continuous improvement, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, DOE, and SPC.
• Knowledge of AIAG quality manuals and experience with manufacturing quality systems and customer communication.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Quality Engineering certification.
• Lead or internal auditor training for IATF 16949/TS16949.
