CNC Operator Puma400B - Double Days (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate one or more CNC machines safely and efficiently within the Machine Shop.
• Complete daily machine health checks and maintain production documentation and traveller bookings.
• Read engineering drawings and manufacture components to specification.
• Monitor quality, stamp completed work, and report non-conformances.
• Minimise scrap, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and support continuous improvement.
• Communicate production issues and delivery priorities with CNC Setters and Production Team Leaders, while supporting new team members and apprentices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Basic CNC machine operation and programming knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good communication, teamwork, numerical skills, and attention to detail.
• An engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
