Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week

Salary: $165,639–$210,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop software applications for investment accounting and operations.
• Design, develop, implement, and unit-test full-stack features using JavaScript and Angular, with C# and ASP.NET back ends.
• Build RESTful and SOAP APIs, SQL data stores, and integrations across heterogeneous platforms.
• Gather requirements, lead architectural design sessions, and document solution approaches with business stakeholders.
• Plan and deliver projects, report risks and estimates, and resolve complex issues affecting critical workflows.
• Improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, application performance, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript and Angular; C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms, and WCF services.
• At least 5 years of SQL development, performance tuning, database design, REST/SOAP APIs, systems integration, automated unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 5 years of application performance profiling and optimization in financial services, asset management, investment management, or private equity.
• Experience gathering requirements from business users and communicating complex technical concepts verbally and in writing.
