AI First Senior iOS Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Annual salary: $125,000–$165,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

A publicly traded technology, data, and innovation company building a digital marketplace for wholesale used vehicles.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship iOS features for seller and buyer marketplace experiences.
• Lead iOS technical direction across SwiftUI modernization, UIKit legacy code, shared kits, authentication, feature flags, and analytics.
• Improve unit, UI, and snapshot testing, pull-request gates, and TestFlight/App Store release hygiene.
• Use AI tools for coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and reducing repetitive work.
• Collaborate with Product, Android, backend, platform, design, and QA teams to align product behavior across platforms.
• Mentor intermediate engineers and own features from design collaboration through production follow-up.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• At least 5 years of professional iOS development experience or equivalent depth.
• Strong Swift and SwiftUI experience, including production App Store and TestFlight releases.
• Experience with architecture, concurrency, networking, performance, modular iOS development, and production observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, Swift Package Manager, dependency injection, coordinators, feature flags, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and automated testing.
• Daily use of AI development tools with the ability to critically evaluate their output.

Nice to have

• Experience leading UIKit-to-SwiftUI migrations.
• Background in wholesale, marketplace, auction, or high-volume transactional mobile applications.
• Android/Kotlin code review, mentoring, BrowserStack, multi-OS snapshot strategies, or hybrid WebView/Cordova experience.
