iOS Platform Engineer

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York City, with office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Base salary: $150,000–$168,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build an iOS platform that helps engineers and AI agents build, run, test, screenshot, and iterate through the app.
• Define iOS feature architecture and ship developer tools and shared frameworks.
• Improve mobile CI/CD, testing systems, observability, and release quality.
• Partner with mobile AI, core product, and product engineering teams to identify friction and drive adoption of platform APIs and standards.
• Evaluate new iOS capabilities and contribute across the shared Rust layer and mobile AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• Deep experience engineering and deploying iOS applications used by millions.
• Experience with mobile platform or infrastructure systems, including CI/CD, testing platforms, build systems, developer tooling, or shared frameworks.
• Strong judgment across iOS architecture patterns and their trade-offs.
• Ability to influence product engineers and drive adoption of platform standards without relying on authority.
• Experience using AI tools and agents as collaborators, including reviewing generated changes and testing behavior.
