TL;DR
Design Director (AI & Tech) (Creative Leadership/Design): Leading design teams and delivering high-quality creative work for an AI platform client across campaigns, motion, static assets, and global markets with an accent on visual direction, brand consistency, and hands-on creative execution. Focus on developing designers, signing off large-scale asset production, shaping campaign concepts, and coordinating resources and processes across disciplines.
Location: London, UK; hybrid working with two days in the office depending on location

What you will do
- Lead, develop, motivate, and inspire design teams of 10 or more people.
- Review and sign off creative work while maintaining brand consistency and high production standards.
- Develop concepts and campaign look and feel across motion, static, and multiple digital platforms.
- Provide clear feedback, guidance, and creative direction to designers, producers, planners, and other disciplines.
- Build effective client-team processes, manage resources, and improve the quality and efficiency of design delivery.
- Present work internally and externally while representing the design discipline across the agency.
Requirements
- Experience growing, inspiring, and leading a team of 10 or more.
- Strong experience leading client relationships with a consultative approach, ideally in the technology or AI sector.
- Strong visual judgment and confidence contributing to concepts and creative direction.
- Experience with resource and operations planning, scopes, timing plans, and large-scale asset production sign-off.
- Curiosity about AI tools and how they can support creative work.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating concept development, craft, motion, design, and technology- or AI-led campaigns.
