Senior Product Owner (E-commerce)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Hamburg, Germany, with 1–2 office days per week depending on location.

What you will do

• Consult clients on project scope, features, priorities, and business impact.
• Plan and execute project discovery phases with multidisciplinary craft experts.
• Set up and manage product backlogs, epics, user stories, and product roadmaps.
• Coordinate project iterations, agile ceremonies, and delivery planning.
• Own project scope, communicate progress and risks, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Lead complex B2C and B2B projects through to successful launch.

Requirements

• Working proficiency in German and English at C1 level, spoken and written.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar product ownership role and in e-commerce or comparable IT projects.
• 5+ years of experience with agile methodologies and leading interdisciplinary teams.
• IT agency or service-provider experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Deep expertise in requirements engineering, scope management, consulting, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Certified Product Owner qualification such as CSPO or ACSPO.
• Experience planning and conducting internal and external workshops.
• Experience working with and leading international teams.
