Special Events Coordinator - Special Events (iGaming)

Location: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Tampa, United States; onsite work on the casino floor.

What you will do

• Coordinate property events ranging from large special events to private events and charitable initiatives.
• Assist with event themes, formats, promotional plans, and budget specifications.
• Execute casino-hotel promotions and assist patrons participating in promotional activities.
• Coordinate entertainment contracts and payments, media calendars, event worksheets, and website event listings.
• Prepare event areas and collateral materials, coordinate with operating departments, and secure materials after events.
• Track expenditures, monitor budget variances, maintain event records, and perform related clerical duties.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in promotions, special events, or public relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and collaborate harmoniously with coworkers.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and a well-groomed professional appearance.
• Compliance with Gaming Commission regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida and departmental policies.
• Employment requires obtaining a gaming license after successfully completing background checks, which may include credit, criminal background, and drug screening checks.
