Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

Salary: $181,000–$226,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and operate shared engineering services, tools, and infrastructure for internal business units.
• Own projects end to end by partnering with stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
• Improve observability through metrics, alerting, logging, and telemetry integrations.
• Identify and implement continuous deployment improvements and infrastructure-as-code changes in cloud environments.
• Operate running services, participate in incident response, and handle customer support escalations.
• Improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources while automating managed-service and virtual-machine upgrades.

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Experience with distributed systems and managed cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including IP addressing and routing.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical teams, and give and process constructive feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in a dynamic startup environment.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Production experience operating Kubernetes.
• Experience with Go.
