What you will do
- Lead the structural design and development of oil-free centrifugal compressors, including engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Perform stress, vibration, thermal deformation, simulation, and design verification analyses.
- Lead product development from concept through production release, including design reviews, technical risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Drive component development, validation, localization, supplier technical evaluation, and issue resolution.
- Conduct complex technical investigations, root cause analysis, advanced engineering studies, value engineering, and patentable technology development.
- Develop engineering standards and design guidelines, support production improvements, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- More than 15 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a master’s degree in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
- Strong knowledge of centrifugal compressor structures, oil-free compressor design principles, and engineering design practices.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling tools, GD&T, engineering drawings, digital simulation, and FMEA methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, cost-awareness, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Effective communication skills in English are required.
