Head of GenAI Platform

Location: Paris, France — hybrid. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available, with relocation support up to €10,000.

What you will do

• Define the long-term vision and technical strategy for the generative AI platform, including model orchestration, evaluation, agentic workflows, and foundation model training.
• Partner with Infrastructure on inference infrastructure, model serving, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across billions of inference requests.
• Work with Research to bring new models into production rapidly and reliably.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of ML Engineers, Software Engineers, Researchers, and Platform Engineers.
• Build evaluation frameworks that consistently measure model quality, cost, and latency.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to align platform investments with product innovation.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading Machine Learning or AI organisations in product-focused companies, with prior hands-on experience as an ML engineer or researcher.
• Experience building and operating AI platforms, including model orchestration, evaluation pipelines, or agent frameworks.
• Strong technical expertise in Generative AI, Computer Vision, or Foundation Models.
• Experience taking emerging technologies from research into production systems used by millions of users.
• Experience growing high-performing engineering and research teams through hiring, coaching, and organisational design.
• Strong product judgment, architecture communication skills, and experience partnering with cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
