Applied AI Engineer (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Work in a cross-functional consulting team to understand customer requirements and design and build bespoke Generative AI solutions.
• Assist the GenAI Solution Architect with application design and develop applications using self-managed and API-accessible models.
• Design advanced prompts and optimize model outputs with RAG, semantic search, source attribution, chains, and agents.
• Select and fine-tune proprietary and open-source models for multimodal content across text, image, audio, and video use cases.
• Research Generative AI techniques, frameworks, and ethical considerations while supporting responsible, secure, and compliant deployment under GDPR, the EU AI Act, and model licenses.
• Monitor production model performance, resolve scalability and reliability issues, document best practices, and distinguish Generative AI use cases from traditional NLP applications.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience with at least one major Generative AI framework, such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience in NLP and NLU, vector embeddings, and semantic search.
• Experience with advanced prompting techniques, including Chain of Thought, Tree of Thought, Graph of Thought, ReAct, and Guardrails.
• Knowledge of proprietary and open-source ecosystems including OpenAI, AWS, Hugging Face, Anthropic, Mistral.ai, and Qwen.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, sharp problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• A pioneering spirit and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
• French language skills and professional fluency in English.
