Storyteller, Product Communications (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, New York, United States of America; office-based work is expected, with most teams working from the office full time.

Salary: $129,200–$209,000 per year, plus potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end earned media strategy and proactive pitching across North American business, technology, and cybersecurity publications.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories and media hooks.
• Build global PR toolkits, messaging frameworks, and pitch guides for localized campaigns.
• Lead product launches and industry moments while managing complex workstreams and deadlines.
• Write press content, prepare product leaders and executives for high-stakes interviews, and maintain high editorial standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners, establish campaign KPIs, and maximize earned media impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of public relations and communications experience focused on B2B technology or cybersecurity.
• Proven experience pitching journalists directly and securing meaningful media coverage.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to produce high-quality content independently.
• Experience managing senior executive spokespeople and preparing product leaders for tier-one media interviews.
• Strong project management, collaboration, and stakeholder coordination skills in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
• Applicants must be prepared to work in the United States location; visa sponsorship is not available.
